If companies as large as these have figured this out the research is clear, headwear is a great way to push a brand. A long way from cheap foam truckers with screen printed logos and sayings that were handed out in the 1970s.

Custom Hat Printing & Embroidery

At Bender Apparel, we offer three professional methods for customizing hats depending on your design, quantity, and style.

1. Custom Embroidery

Embroidery is the most popular option for custom hats. Using industry-standard embroidery machines, we stitch your logo directly into the hat for a clean, professional look that lasts.

Our low minimum order of just 6 pieces makes embroidery perfect for small teams or businesses. Pricing improves at higher quantities, with price breaks occurring about every dozen hats.

2. Custom Hat Patches

Patch hats have made a major comeback, offering a vintage and nostalgic look that many brands love. We produce several patch styles including:

Woven patches
Sublimated patches
PVC patches
Laser-engraved leather patches

Patches are applied using high-quality heat-activated adhesives designed to permanently bond to the hat, ensuring durability that lasts for the life of the garment.
Minimum order: 50 pieces.

3. Printed Hat Transfers

For detailed or full-color designs, we use screen print and DTG transfers. Modern transfer technology allows us to apply vibrant graphics to select hat styles with excellent durability and long-lasting results.

This method is ideal when embroidery isn't the best option for your design.

Spot Color

4 Color Spot Print. On this particular design we save the customer money by not printing black and using the shirt color as part of the design. Any other shirt colors they are charged for the black.

Process Print

Process prints use 8+ colors. Due to its complexity the art process is generally longer.

Soft Hand - Plastisol ink with an additive that reduces ink weight making it lighter on a shirt.
Discharge - Plastisol ink with an additive that dyes the garment as opposed to the way the ink traditionally binds to the fabric
Puff - An ink that slightly raises off of the garment
