Online See What We Did
We now have examples of our work. If you look under look what we did sceenprinting and embroidery you can see examples of our jobs we have completed. It is a new feature that can help our customers see what kind of quality we produce. This is a great feature that will allow customers to see our custom screenprinting and custom embroidery. Before our customers had to take our word for it, but now they can see for themselves what out quality is. I think this is one of the most effective ways to sell on the internet. I know if I was purchasing on custom embroidery or screenprinting on the internet I would want to know what kind of quality the company offered and this shows it. Just take a look for yourself Labels: 2nd step in custom screenprinting, custom embroidery, Look what we did

What type of Presses do you use?
At http://www.bendershirts.com/ we use MandR and we also have Lawson. The most desirable is the MandR press, but they come with a pretty high price tag. A normal screenprinting shop can typically go with an eight color screenprinting press. Eight color presses will cover most jobs, but we use 10 color presses to handle some of those complex jobs that are out there. The MandR offer a lot more bells and whisles, such as pressure controls, electronic indexing, and more control of printing from the printing station. I will say that we started with the Lawson presses, but will buy nothing but MandR from here on out. When it comes to automatic presses you get a lot more control of the print from the M&R which in turn produces better quality shirts and we like that. I can go on and on about MandR and probably will in some later post, but for now I will leave you with this. If you can afford MandR – Buy MandR. What size is a custom sceenprinted left chest?
We like to use our judgement on this question. I think different designs need different sizes. For example a customer had a logo that was very narrow, so I recommended using a 4.25 inch wide design. This would make the design larger than normal in the width, but not in the height. Normal sizing is 3.5 inches, but if I made her design 3.5 inches wide it would have only been 1 inch tall. I think that is too small. Most designs we custom screen print are at the 3.5 inch size, but we always like to be able to help the customer in deciding if that is the best size for them. If you have questions about the sizing of your custom screenprinted left chest logo please give us a call toll free at 88-222-9542. 3rd Process in Custom Screenprinting
We are finally at the printing process. The first type of printing is the output of the films. This happens by using a program call fastrip. It is a program that prints out each color in a design on a transparent film. This film will then be placed on a screen that coated with emulsion. The emulsion is light sensitive. Once we have the film positioned we place it under an exposure unit which is a fancy way of saying a light source. This light source burns the image into the screen. There is a screen burned for every color that will be printed in the design. For example, if you have a 4 color logo being custom screenprinted on a shirt you will have 4 screens made for that logo. Each screen will go thru a process of inspection to make sure the image is crisp and clean of any defects. At this point we are ready to go to the press. As you can see there is alot of work that goes into custom screen printing before the order ever has ink put on the shirt. This is what we consider the hard part. If the screens are done right the logo will typically come out looking just like the customer wants. Don't hesitate to give me a shout if you have any questions about this process. 2nd Step to a Custom Screenprinted T-Shirt
Ok, last post we talked about deciding on what we wanted to custom screenprint on our garment. It probably is one of the hardest steps to complete for the customer. The next step falls on the graphic artist. Once the customer tells the sales representive what they would like printed, the sales representaive passes it along to the graphic artist. The graphic artist now has the responsiblity of converting the artwork to a vector format which is compatiable with vector programs such as Adobe Illustrator and Corel Draw. This can be either very time consuming or easy as a couple clicks of a button. Once the artist has the artwork ready for print it is sent via email to the customer for final approval. At this point the artwork is ready and we wait for the customer to respond. The customer will now only have to look at their custom screen printed design to see if there are any errors in spelling, color or layout. This is something customers really need to look at carefully.
